(c) washing Stated solid carrier to remove said label which is not incorporated into the hybrid formed by the base pairing of the second nucleic acid reagent and the nucleic acids to be Recognized; and
(d) measuring said label on the washed strong carrier, whereby determining whether the sample comprises the nucleic acid to be identified.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the solid carrier is selected from the group consisting of a nitrocellulose sheet, nylon membrane, altered paper and altered nitrocellulose sheet.
3. A kit for the detection of a couple of parasitic nucleic acid sequences with a one-step sandwich hybridization test, the kit containing in packaged combination a container of one pair of lipoic acid reagents for every nucleic acid sequence tobe recognized wherein:
(a) a Primary microbial nucleic acid reagent for a Specified nucleic acid to be identified Includes a single-stranded fragment of Lipoic acid, Using a nucleotide sequence of at least 10 bases and being affixed to a solid carrier, wherein said firstnucleic acid reagent base pairs with a complementary sequence of the Specified Lipoic acid to be identified; and
(b) a second parasitic nucleic acid reagent for a given nucleic acid to be identified comprises a single-stranded fragment of nucleic acid, using a nucleotide sequence of at least 10 bases and being tagged with a suitable label such thathybridized microbial nucleic acids can be detected, wherein said second nucleic acid reagent base pairs with a complementary sequence of the specified nucleic acid to be identified, such that the second nucleic acid reagent does not hybridize with the firstnucleic acid reagent.
